Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip garden, previously named the Model Floriculture Center, Sirajbagh, Cheshmashahi, Srinagar, is the largest Tulip garden of Asia. Situated at the foot of the Zabarwan Hills, and spread over an area of about 12 hectares, it adorns the Kashmiri landscape. At an altitude of 5600 feet one can enjoy a view of the picturesque world famous Dal Lake.
In the period of 2006-07 this garden was conceived and created by Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad, who was Chief Minister, of Jammu and Kashmir at the time. The prime aim was to boost floriculture and advance tourism in the Kashmir Valley.
