Jim Glab (12 may 2013) FAA/Security writes: The Transportation Security Administration’s (TSA) PreCheck trusted traveler program has expanded to 40 U.S. airports. As of last week, PreCheck is available to participants going on “select” international flights. Participating airlines include Alaska, American, Delta, United and US Airways. “Passengers flying internationally from the 40 participating TSA PreCheck airports may be eligible to receive expedited screening,” the agency said. “In addition, passengers with connecting domestic flights who arrive in the United States on an international flight may use the TSA PreCheck lanes when going through the screening process at participating airports after being cleared by U.S. Customs and Border Protection.” Some airlines in the program add notification on boarding passes to let travelers know if they are eligible for PreCheck.
